Proposition 65 Warning
In 1986, California voters approved an initiative to address their growing concerns about exposure to toxic chemicals. That initiative became the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, better known by its original name of Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires the State to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 800 chemicals since it was first published in 1987.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By providing this information, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about protecting themselves from exposure to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water.
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program. OEHHA, which is part of the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA), also evaluates all currently available scientific information on substances considered for placement on the Proposition 65 list.
In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

Part clamp meter, part clamp marvel.
With the Fluke 376 Clamp Meter with iFlex, you?ll be ready for anything.
Be ready for anything.
The Fluke 376 Clamp Meter offers improved performance perfect for a wide range of current measurement situations. With true-rms voltage and current measurements, the Fluke 376 can read up to 1000 V and 1000 A in both ac and dc modes.
Additionally, the Fluke 376 includes the new iFlex? flexible current probe, which expands the measurement range to 2500 A ac while providing increased display flexibility, ability to measure around awkward sized conductors and improved wire access. The Fluke 376 is the direct replacement for the Fluke 337 Clamp Meter.
Will the Fluke 376 measure voltage as well? I don’t see where you plug in the test leads.

I have this question too (3)
Yes. The Fluke 376 will measure AC/DC voltage up to 1000 volts. The test leads plug into the bottom of the unit.

The Fluke 376 is a True RMS meter. What does that mean? Do I need that?
I have this question too (0)
RMS stands for Root Mean Square. While an ideal AC signal is a true sine wave, many situations will present deformed, imperfect waveforms. When measuring these with a meter which is not True RMS, the user can often be provided with inaccurate readings. However, the Fluke 376 is a True RMS device. Through a series of complex mathematical algorithms, it is able to display accurate readings, making the 376 much more dependable than many other products on the market.
The Fluke 376 is a clamp meter. What is a clamp meter?
Clamp meters allow you to measure current without having to open a circuit. All that is required is to place the conductor being measured inside the jaws of the 376.
The Fluke 376 comes with an i-Flex. What is an i-Flex?
The Fluke i-Flex is an accessory which is included with the 376. It is an 18 inch flexible current probe which can be opened up and wrapped around a conductor. This offers ease of use with larger conductors and hard to reach places. The i-Flex only measures AC current.
I can use the Fluke 376 to measure current with both the jaws and the i-Flex? Do they measure the same ranges?
No. The jaws on the Fluke 376 will measure AC/DC current up to 999.9 A, while the i-Flex will measure AC current up to 2500A.
Can I measure inrush current with the Fluke 376?
Yes, the Fluke 376 will measure inrush current.
Besides voltage and current, what other tests can I perform with the Fluke 376?
The Fluke 376 will measure resistance, capacitance, continuity and frequency.
